For the greater good

In my twenties, I became one of the first volunteer mentors with Big Brothers Big Sisters Rotorua. Watching my Little Brother, Logan, grow up and chase his dreams remains one of the greatest privileges of my life.

More than a decade - and a few grey hairs - later, a question kept bugging me: could I rally my friends, family, and community together to make a bigger impact for the cause than I ever could on my own?

That question inspired me to create Bowls & BBQ - an annual fundraising event that brings together local professionals for an outdoor bowling tournament in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters.

To date, these fundraisers - held across Rotorua, Cambridge, and Hamilton - have raised $54,000 (that's enough to support 490 mentoring matches for a month, and equivalent to $882,000 in social impact!).

How I can support community events or campaigns

✓ Speaker, MC, or Host - Whether you need someone to open the day, hold the room together, or keep your audience engaged, I'm comfortable with a mic in my hand.

✓ A sounding board - Sometimes you just need someone who's helped with a lot of events to look over what you've got and tell you what's missing.

My team at Dimple Digital occasionally takes on community projects, and may be able to:
